Kids call bus monitor "fat" until she cries and they still don't stop.

This was just posted, and I find it atrocious. Absolutely disgusting.
If my kids ever did something like this, they would fear me for the rest of their lives.

I can't even begin to comprehend what made them feel like this was okay at all.

Reddit has been trying to get it onto the local news in Greece, New York.
The kids have been identified, and people are writing to the super superintendent, news stations, etc.

I really hope justice is served for the bus monitor, Karen. She did not deserve what these kids were saying to her.

The worst part is, I can only assume the parents will not give much of a care unless they are forced by the public.
How would they get like this in the first place...

    I'm just disgusted.

  2. Oh man that's so horrible =( Disgusting kids...
  3. @GwonkGwonk, yes.
I do not live near them, but I did send a letter to the school with the video attached.
I'm sure the school will be flooded with messages by morning, and mine may not make a difference, but I feel I at least tried to do something.
I also contributed to a little fund to buy her flowers.

I hope these kids get what they deserve.

  4. This is exactly why I avoid contact with persons younger than myself, particularly if they don't appear modest or respectful.
I have the ability to hold back my hands like I have the ability to stop breathing. I'd last maybe 45 seconds before beating the living crap out of every kid with an open mouth ._.''
I feel horrible this woman went through this, but I respect her for not beating the shit out of these kids. I'd have damn near killed one of them with my temper. She's a better person than I. I hope she realizes that; and that she's better than those ignorant little children.

  5. [SUB]This is disgusting.

I've written a letter to the school.

ARGH. I dont know what to say. Kids are just terrible these days............[/SUB]
  6. I'm disgusted too. :/ I think I might take @Andou's path and write a letter to the school also. :(

I'm really disturbed by this... I hope those kids reap their karma though

edit: Came back to say more.
I can't shake these goosebumps from this video, I'm so disgusted.

I agree, @Bexxy, if my kids did this, they would fear me for the rest of their life.
Karen didn't deserve this. And no kid should disrespect their elders like that. That is wrong. I'm disturbed by this. Very disturbed.

    The other video.

    Poor Karen..

    Found another...
  8. I could only watch a few seconds because it was so horrible. I can't believe they did this to the poor lady, and she handled it admirably well from what I saw. Is there anything that we can do to bring justice to those insensitive, rude little kids?
  9. Fine their parents and subject them to embarrassment at school. Taste of their own medicine

  10. This made me FUUUU so hard until you mentioned Reddit.

They'll take care of this good.
  11. i read the title of this thread and actually started crying lmao jesus christ those kids are horrible i feel so fucking bad for that woman

im actually gOING to be sick thats so HORRIBLE OH MY GOD IM SO MAD LOL
  12. I'm absolutely disgusted, angry, and upset at what the younger generation is turning into - or maybe I think, it's just those kids. No respect. I still don't dare to watch the video because I'm either going to start crying or becoming more angry. What @BexxyBexxy posted as a snipped of the conversation is really, really sickening. My friends facebooked me about the incident too.

This is why adults think teenagers and kids are immature and irresponsible. It's because these idiots are doing these things that make it worse for everyone else who's trying to reverse the stigma, the stereotypes of teenagers. These kids not only insulted Karen -- but also themselves and us teenagers. I hope they get what they deserved and that no one ever forgives them about what they've done. Make it all public, make it known. I'm quite frankly disgusted and want to see those kids punished for their behavior and actions.

Why is compassion missing nowadays in the younger generation?

  13. This is the problem in schools. Other kids get this bullying and so do teachers etc... It isnt acceptable and the reason it keeps happening is because there are not sufficient consequences for it! You know one of the greatest things that stick out in my mind is that when I was in school I was tortured like this every SINGLE day and come highschool I finally snapped and pummeled one of the little assholes that did this to me everyday. My dad took me to the kids house and made me apologize to him and his parents so they didnt press charges. His dad was nasty just like him and put me down just like him and said that bullying was ok and that kids would be kids but I was absolutely deplorable because I hit him and that made me a deliquent and that his son was soooo perfect and awesome because he did nothing wrong n putting me through what he did every single day.

So you see... Forget suspensions and stuff... There needs to be LAWS enforced by POLICE officers and stuff for things like this! Sure you could say harassment etc but police wont even file papers for it. Talking to the police was one of the many avenues that I tried absolutely begging for help. They said too bad nothing they could do about it. This is why kids commit suicide and this is why adults would contemplate suicide. As an adult if I worked my ass off trying to just get by and be anle to live and was tortured like this everday I wouldnt feel much like living.

The most heartbreaking thing about this is that in situations like this you give up because there is literally NOtHING you can do. no one will punish these kids. The law isnt on the bus drivers side. the school doesnt care. Their parents dont care. She knows that every single day she has a job working with these kids thats what she has to face.

Victims in these situations are the ones who will have consequences because when they snap and hit them because there is no other alternative everyone throws their hands up and says omg why did they do that. Newsflash... This is why.

  14. Dick heads...
  15. There's no room in my heart for kids like this.
If I was on that bus at that age I would be defending her.

Sometimes violence is the answer. She should have smacked them.
  16. What people arent understanding is there is no justice for this. Maybe since thousands have seen this the attackers really will feel embarassed but in normal every day situations there is no justice. It happens everday and they are rewarded for the bahavior. Crying makes them feel good and other kids support them and cheer them on. No consequences.
  17. As much as I wish for that too, she is in no position to do that. The only people who have the right to give a good slap on those kids mouths are their parents.

    And they better do.
  18. As soon as the video starts it breaks my heart. This video is already blowing up and pissing people off. The kids facebooks, parents facebooks, parents work numbers and co-workers numbers are being released all over the internet.
  19. /b/ already has the kids facebook accounts and even the bus monitor herself.

    Good gawd.
  20. [SUB]I wonder how /b/ is going to handle this.

If it was like last time with that girl throwing puppies in the river then...[/SUB]
