  1. origins virtual pet site origins kickstarter

Your banner/button can be located here for an entire month or year, please see our advertising on virtualpetlist thread for more information.

  2. nice update

  3. Heh, I'm tempted to change my status into Artist, but I've never worked for any petsites before. That and I don't know how to send or receive money yet (can't get a paypal until I graduate, dad says).

    I can't wait though.
  4. So people can just change without being tested first?
    Or do they get tested?

Because this means that if they don't get tested then there could be people selling art they don't own and make it look like they are an artist...
  5. Or someone could be a terrible programmer and give people rotten code o-o

I agree, there should be some form of application/approval system.
  6. @GGitzOleGGitzOle.
Maybe anyone can chanage it, but approved sells can have a golden star next to their username ?

  7. You guys are right, maybe making a usergroup private? I just join the programmer group, but that's because I'm a real programmer :p Nice update!
  8. They already have the font color for artists. I think this is a good move, and really, if someone doesn't fit in one of the groups; we can always remove them from the group.

  10. @SaintSaint maybe not but if there is anything dodgy with them someone will point it out and it'd end up probably them being banned or removed from the group

  11. Nice update. I agree that users should have to be approved.
  12. Yes you could always remove them later if something comes up but, and correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't the damage already be done?
  13. That's what I was thinking. The description of the groups say "Users who belong to this group are trusted traders of the marketplace." and "Users who belong to this group are trusted programmers". How would you know they are trusted if anyone can just join the group?
  14. Exactly, you can't just join the forum and say your an artist.
There has to be some acceptance thing, I'm willing to create something up for the artist one..
  15. There is a way that you can be approved by a member of staff, I will bring it up with the staff. :)
  16. Group Leaders is pending at this time, but hopefully by tomorrow they will be a Group Leader for each group to go though the members. Thank you. ^^
  17. If you join these groups you will need to be approved by a Moderator.

Artists are approved by: Martyn and Joy
    Programmers are approved by: Lewis

It can also be seen when trying to join these groups. :)
  18. I did what it says in another thread about this, and I mailed GGitzOle with a programming example, however that was a few days ago, and i still have yet to get a response.. or anything really <_<
  19. @Martyn, @LewisLewis or @Joy will be able to help, if not I will be happy too.
