If you follow Subeta's facebook - users are still complaining about lag being a major problem for them:

Is anyone else having lag problems with Subeta? Or is it the site loading fine for you?

After browsing the site a bit, I have noticed a bit more lag than typical. Hope this gets fixed!

When you move to a new server, it can take a while to iron out any issues and make sure all the settings are the way they are. If Subeta thinks that their new server will handle the site faster, it will. Any hardware switch requires some trial and error to make it run to its fullest capacity.
