Egg Cave consistently has new pets and items releasing every month. They have several annual events to get exclusive pets.
Unlike other click to grow sites, Egg Cave's creatures grow in 3 different ways depending on the species. These are feeds, clicks, and views. Each species page will tell you what that pet needs to evolve. If a pet gets enough of a stat, it'll become immortal. While mortal, they need to be fed consistently. Dead pets require a premium currency item to revive. There's a premium item that can ensure all of your pets cannot die. They can still become immortal when owning the item.
Getting feeds is easy when you trade with the community. Active players are often willing to feed in return. The Click Exchange gives you a random assortment of pets to click and feed. The more pets you feed/click, the more click exchange points you get. Your points are spent when other people feed/click on your pets.
Egg Cave always has a strong diversity of pet and item designs, even more so than most pet sims. You are encouraged to share links and code of your pets on forums and websites.
