Say Hello to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete – A New Offline Adventure

Nintendo is bringing a fresh twist to its beloved mobile game with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, an offline continuation of the original app. Departing from the free-to-play model, this version will be available for a one-time purchase of $10, but the price will increase to $20 starting early next year.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete launches on December 2, and existing Pocket Camp players can carry over their progress—but only if they link their save data to a Nintendo Account by 11 PM PT on June 1, 2025. Nintendo promises that players will retain access to most of the items and events from the original game’s seven-year history.

The $10 introductory price will be available until January 30, 2025, when it will increase to $20.

The original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will officially shut down on November 28 after launching in November 2017. Unlike its predecessor, the new app won’t include monthly subscription plans, which were introduced in 2019 and expanded in 2022.

In addition to the familiar gameplay of managing a campground, fishing, and bug-catching, Pocket Camp Complete introduces some new features. Whistle Pass is a new location where players can enjoy live musical performances, and Camper Cards—tradeable via QR codes—let users share information like their favorite villagers.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be available on Android and iOS devices, giving players a chance to continue their adventures in a whole new way.
