Animo, a new free-to-play, next-gen creature-catching open-world ARPG is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC in 2026.

Its slated to be released in 2026, but their developers are working hard to get the game ready for its release date next year.

Animo was announced earlier today at the Xbox Showcase event.
As a Pathfinder, you’ll begin your journey in Idyll, a dynamic, interactive and expansive open world! There, you can collect, evolve, and twine with magical creatures called Aniimo.

Get ready to explore uncharted landscapes and mysterious dungeons, battle in real-time PvE and PvP combat, solve ancient puzzles, and master a truly dynamic gameplay experience.

What are your thoughts on this upcoming creature collecting game, Animo? It seems like it’s going to be similar to Palword as well.

A new extended trailer of Amiio has been released.

Some fans have stated that this upcoming game will be similar to Palworld and Pokemon, but it’ll actually be Palworld without the guns.

There’s also some stating that it’ll be similar to Digimon as well. But, it’s nice to see other game coming soon that’s similar to all of these!

A release date for Pc users will be coming later this year.

Animo is a great game. I love the fact that it's free to play that would be launched on the Xbox series and Android. However, the game draws inspiration from popular games like Pokemon and Palworld. I can't wait to play it come 2026.

Aniimon is now looking for early beta testers, so if you’re interesting in playing the game early, I’d recommend applying to become a tester.

Beta testing sign ups will end on June 30th.

I seen this during the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this month and man it looks awesome! I love me a good monster collecting game.

I have watched the trailer of Animo and it is absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail is worth checking out. The graphics and the open world adds to the fun too. I prefer a game in which it is possible to wander around its world and capture creatures.
