Any game you were hyped about getting, but glad you never did?

We all had that game that when it was released, we pushed and tried to get, but maybe for a reason or another, we didn't. Yet, we were glad we didn't play it. Personally, Kerbal Space Program 2 was that game for me. I am glad that I didn't fall for the hype to play this game then. What game comes to mind?

I really wish I never got Mighty no 9, that game suuuucked.

I can recur when my brother and his friends were hyping "No man's sky". The game was announced in 2013 and the way my brother and his friends hyped and continue hyping this game made me to wait for it's release.

They were really disappointed because it wasn't what they expected. The game failed to deliver all of the promises they named. I was glad that I wasn't disappointed or caught up in the hype. It's funny now that I remembered it.

Oh man tell me about it. I believe you joined my Mighty No. 9 fan forum, Mighty No. 9 Universe. I was super hyped like everyone else was when it kept meeting each goal and then the delays kept happening... until we got a very mediocre game. I'm a bit weary about backing game projects now. I feel bad for the people who backed the project and hoping they were going to get the 3DS or PS Vita ports like advertised lol. I guess they didn't miss out on much, at least the music is good.

I wanted to play that Gollum game at first as a LOTR freak, but after hearing all of the terrible reviews about it, I'm glad I didn't.

I know some people who got on the project led it astray. Could have been a great game.

The Harrypotter games. I so much love the books and the movies, I was so much ready to get the games. But I saw so many negative reviews about it. Then I watched a friend played and I was like, No.

Despite a lot of popularity, I have never played GTA. Well, I don't mean it is hyped, it is actually a good game but I have never been interested in playing GTA

I am not going back to check their updates and I can't tell my brother to check the updates too. These guys were very disappointed at first and telling them to check on the game again is like putting salt to an injury. I better let it slide.
