Mobile games are not complex but I’ve seen some of them becoming more complex. This is because we're seeing more console-quality graphics and more deeper storytelling as well. Games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile are really pushing the boundaries.

I think they should be kept simple, the more they are made high end, the quicker the battery life would drain.

Complexity is not always necessary because we need a simple, intuitive games like Tetris and Candy Crush. Despite the simplicity, they are still incredibly popular.

Accessibility is more important. However, i also believe that complexity can also lead to more engaging experiences too. Games like The Escapists and XCOM: Enemy Within have successfully adapted complex gameplay to mobile.

Definetly. When games appeared first time on Google play store it was something really simple but overtime they made very strong graphic games that take gigabytes of space.. And not only that, they are also very complex with million things to do there.

There are now complex games that you can play made for "gaming phones", but there will always be the classics that take up no CPU or RAM like Tetris, etc.

I am not sure about mobile games becoming complex because I don't do a lot of mobile gaming but over all games are getting more complex that they used to be in the past. The new games and the new sequels are becoming difficult to play.

Can we cast our minds back to the days of snake game and tetris on mobile? Well, those games have become more complex now compared to the simple nature it was decades back. And now, we have games like Clash of Clans on mobile. Games that you have to build base and deploy warfare strategy. Mobile games have become more complex and would continue to be.

I believe mobile games are becoming more complex.
In the beginning mobile games were simple, and quick-play. But now they have expanded into experiences with deep progression systems, multiplayer features, open worlds, and live events. Many mobile games now feel closer to PC or console games.
