No matter what you do you need consistency. Whether you are blogging, running a forum, working as a freelancer or building a YouTube channel, the fundamentals are the same:

Be consistent

Focus on your niche

Provide real value

Build traffic through quality content

There are no shortcuts

Are you consistent? Are you doing it every day?

Yes, I am very consistent. It is necessary to be consistent with your work. Although it might be hard, but it's necessary. Even on some days you don't feel like working, showing up makes a big difference.

I am consistent with my work but some days, I can get very tired not to keep up with the pace. Consistency is not a child's play, it takes lots of effort to be steady on it.

In the world of today that there are many distractions, it is quite difficult to stay focused to be consistent to do what you are supposed to do. I am a consistent person. I get caught up with distractions few times but I am very consistent. I have been plying a particular trade for nine years now.

My goal is to be consistent with my plans but to be honest, it's not really easy to achieve. I fall behind when I'm so tired or during periods where I have a lot going on.

It's only a serious health condition and unavoidable family emergency that's going to make me slack from being consistent with my work because the bills I have to pay doesn't have feelings.

@Ja sa bong That's actually true. Bills keep piling up and that is what pushes you to stay consistent even when your body is begging for rest. Life is not easy, but showing up regularly is really what keeps things moving.

I'm a damn workaholic. I wish I could stop but I simply can't. When I'm not working, I feel like I'm being lazy and I hate that feelings down to my bones.

@lens I agree with you as being consistent is never easy. There are times when the mind would be willing to get the work done, but the body is tired 😫. In that case, I don't always know what to do.

The best thing you can do when your body is not actively coordinated to work as your mind is willing is to take a break and rest.

To be able to work on the days that you don't feel like makes a whole lot of difference. That is what being consistent is all about and why I encourage such at all times.

It might be easy on paper, but we all know that it is not as easy as many of us would make it look. It is very difficult, but we can just keep trying.

I really try, but I have noticed since hitting my 30's its gone downhill a lot.

Have you tried knowing what must have been the issue? Did you need a pay rise or does it have to do with the work not being fun anymore?

Quitting is never an option because your expenses and bills never quit on you, they also never get tired which why getting back on track as quickly as possible is important.

I think I'm fairly consistent when I work whether it's for somebody else, or with my own ventures(website). I do take breaks, but I also grind long hours, and I do that consistently. I also am quick to respond when/if my members needs support.

There are some days I would have a business supply contract that's going to have me busy buying and supplying items from 8am till 6pm in the evening. I'll only take 30 minutes break to have my lunch. This is how hard I can grind in a day.

I feel like I'm consistent with some things, but I can improve on other things. I need to be more consistent with my Youtube Channels, I need to stop focusing on live streams when I already don't have much of an audience. So I decided to take a break from Live streaming for a while, until I can get more subscribers and views on my videos. I also need to record more videos and have them edited and uploaded, then set to premier them at a later date.

While I am not going to fault your decision to take a break on your live streams when you did, I felt that you should have tried studying what made others to be successful and tried applying it when you do your streams. Doing more videos is cool, but what about those subscribers who are always there for you when you were active?

I trying to, but I'm human. Some weeks I'm on fire, some weeks I just drag. It puts you ahead because consistency beats perfection.
If you make up for the time when you're not consistent, it's all that matters. We can't be firing on all cylinders at all times.

I agree with this opinion. Failure is inevitable for humans, but rising up immediately it happens is what is important at a times. We can't be able to get it right at all times.
