Recently, I read a report that said gen Z is drowning in debt and one main reason is pointed towards "buy now pay later" habit. The report said this age group is vulnerable due to high living cost, lower savings and rising unemployment.
I am not Gen Z but I have a lot of debt to pay. My debt is due to my failed business ventures.
Do you have debt?

I have debt from a couple of years ago, and I have no plans of paying it off anytime soon.
I am re-building my credit though with two other credit lines though, and those two lines are currently my only focus right now.

Not having any current debt I have to pay off would be the best gift I've given to myself over the years. Having a serious debt hanging over your head can be depressing.

I've never lived above my earnings all my life. I've never taken a loan nor am I owning anyone a penny. Rather, so many of my friends are owing me a huge amount of money which they might struggle to pay off.

It can be for some. I've had friends over the years borrow money, and some have never paid me back.

Once I loan money out, I know it is never coming back. However, I see it somewhat as a blessing. They may need it more than me on some grounds, so I don't worry about that aspect. Only about 45% of them have paid me back, lol.

I kind of dug myself a bit of a hole recently in getting married and helping out my now wife till she gets disability pay, it's a hole, but will step out soon.

I wish you both the best of luck bro. I hope you're able to fix this before kids starts coming in because by then, it's going to be a whole lot difficult.

Unfortunately my wife and I have some medical debt that we're paying off. Her stuff is coming out of my HSA account but mine isn't. I need to pay this month's bill, I had to use care credit for my tooth problems early this year.

I have bills to pay but once I receive my salary, I will pay my bills. I don't have any kind of debts.

I don't think that can ever happen to me.
I don't collect what I won't be able to pay .

The total debts that I owe is not more than $20. And it is being owed at the place that I bought fabrics last week because I got some fabrics on credit.

I won't say am drowning in debt though, but i do have a lot i need to sort out this period.
