I've been coding off, and on for several years. I'm not the greatest programmer, but I am pretty good.
I can code basically anything you need for a pet site in PHP. I also have experience using the Laravel framework.

I can't offer immediate payment, as all of my little team, including myself, are all doing this on a volunteer basis until we can launch our kickstarter after alpha testing [before beta testing] and we get the funds from that in, as it's primary purpose will be to start paying everyone for all their hard work. If you can tell me what your desired hourly/daily wage would be I can add that into the kickstarter fund amount that we need, so once the kickstarter is completed you can be paid in full for all previous work on the site. My hope is that the site will bring in enough money from premium currency and specialty items sales that I can afford to continue paying everyone on the dev team for as long as they remain working for me.
The site is not currently ready to launch for closed alpha testing, but if I can find someone who knows how to tie front end svelte/css code into backend php and mysql code then we can get there before too much longer. I just need someone who knows what they're doing, that I can be like "hey can you do this like this" and they are able to get it done. My brother is currently my backend coder, but he's got a sudden very serious IRL issue pop up that he needs to focus on, so I need someone who can step in and help so that the site development can continue on.
However, if you're willing to give this a try, then I am sure we can do great things together. I do have features like breeding, custom pet creation [user designed pets a user can make from one of the existing species with existing markings and physical traits], solo and multiplayer questing, guilds, and more planned. I just personally do not know how to do any of these things despite trying to figure it out for over 4yrs on my own with no help, so I'm hoping to find someone willing to work with me, and maybe even teach me at the same time, in order to further bring the site to life. It's already on a site host for 2yrs at least, and is somewhat functional, but there is some kinks that need worked out and features that need implemented sooner rather than later.
