The nice thing about the latest updates is that you have access to a lot of the the various ore mining sites with ancient tech! So late game you only really need to worry about crude oil and coralium. Currently I'm on one of the islands (the ones like the tererria one) because you never get raided and it has a crude oil spot with three areas to extract from (thats 6 extractors)! The island itself is big enough to put 3 bases on too, so I have a place to farm the crude oil, a production/mining base, and a breeding base for whatever I'm breeding/whalaska's for butchering.

Im super interested in that Anubis desert region though! Do you know where it is? I'm looking to do a hardcore and/or randomized run once 1.0 drops.
