Black Phone 2

A sequel to The Black Phone is officially in the works, and it’s slated for release this fall on October 17th.. Universal wants to run it back one more time, and The Black Phone 2 is their answer.



The phone is ringing again. Following the blockbuster success of Blumhouse’s 2022 horror phenomenon, which earned more than $160 million worldwide and global critical acclaim, Universal Pictures announces the launch of a sinister new franchise with the release of Black Phone 2.




Did you watch the first movie? What did you think of it? Are you excited for the sequel or feeling cautious about how they’ll follow it up?

I've watched the first movie which wasn't bad. I kept on following on this sequel but got carried away about his release date. I'll see how possible it's going to be for me to see it this weekend.

Finney would be 17 and his sister, Gwen would be 15 when this sequel would be released. I would love to see how it goes their characters would evolve in this sequel from the first part.

I didn’t even realize a sequel was coming till recently. The first one was so interesting. It's not your usual horror movie. If the second keeps that same dark tone, I’m definitely watching. Might save it for a night when I can turn off all the lights 😅
