Bura: The Way the Wind Blows is a cozy adventure game that’s inspired by Legend of Zelda and its slated release date is sometime next year.

They’re currently running a Kickstarter campaign, however, it’s fully funded and has raised $33,141. Their goal was to raise $20,000, so they have surpassed their goal amount. Their kickstarter will be ending in 36 hours.

About Bura: The way the wind blows:
You will be able to choose one of 3 different pet companions to share your adventure. Each of them have their own personality and you can bond with them to learn more of their spirit. Share all the moments and emotions - good or bad, with your companion, as they are always better to experience with a friend

The mini games in Bura: The Way the Wind Blows reflect our heritage, they are traditions from the Dalmatian area - including Lacemaking from Pag(cro. Paška Čipka) and abocce type game that we in Dalmatia call Balote. This will allow players to get in touch with our culture and have a true feeling for the traditions that shaped Bura into what it is today.

The first records of lacemaking in Pag date back to the 1500s in the local Benedictine monastery. It is an UNESCO registered heritage which needs to be preserved at all costs. Including it in Bura is our way of trying to help the cause of preserving such customs.

What do these traditions have in common with each other and with our game?

They promote slow, leisurely activities that you can practice on your own or with your local community/group of friends. They provide a respite from the modern pace of living in favor of slow, relaxing traditional activities. They are the coffee at grandma’s or the chess game with grandpa that we all longingly remember as we get older and lose such simple pleasures.

Bura: The way the wind blows will be available on Steam in the first quarter of 2025, then Nintendo switch soon after.

Adding stretch goals has made the campaign easier, especially the additional character customization options.
