I like the remake of classic games because it brings back old memories. But people argued on whether remakes are necessary or not. Some believe that it enhances the graphics and sound of the classic titles. Others say it alters the original charm, and they lay too much emphasis on graphics.

They're not necessary, but they could be done without a problem as it enhances the gameplay with modern tech and really doesn't change the story. I mean, how badly can you mess up a remake of Tetris?

This is far from remakes of movies though. You can screw up a new story so bad that it could ruin both movies.

Yes it does provide a second chance truly. There will be an improvement on the game’s mechanics and it'll make it stand out because a lot of improvement must have been included during the making of the game.

There should be some remakes here and there. The addition of new graphics or controllers will attract more players to enjoy the game. I always like remakes that are done with great improvement.
