Construction Work

What have you done? Where and how did you learn to do the job? Has anyone worked on personal projects like building a home or even just a fence? What were some obstacles?

Did anyone take construction in high school?

Myself, I've only worked as a helper. I never took building trades, but I did learn small engine repair and welding, but don't remember anything now, lol.

I’ve worked on construction jobs, mostly building fences, but not houses. I didn’t take any construction courses in school, though. I’ve also used a road roller a few times on other job sites.

Never done it, I know full well I could never handle the work with my weak body.

I was so broke at the time while I was still trying to stand financially. I had to take up construction work to try and survive. I joined to work in a site that they were constructing a church. I worked for the first four days. I was hospitalized on the fifth day and the doctor told me never to do that kind of work again in my life.

I can't work in construction firm unless it's a minor job. It's too much work for me moving and using those heavy machinery.
