Deskplanet is an upcoming game that is currently released as a prototype. It's a idle virtual pet sim where you start the game off by raising a planet as a star. Its developer aims to continue working on it after they release another project of theirs, and they have plans to develop the game further.

The game's prototype is available for Mac and Windows.

When I saw this, I paused a little. Raising a planet as a pet sounds weird but it's also interesting. If the art is clean, I can try it.

Kudos to the devs for making an attempt to build a pet game. I am always elated when I see a new pet game being developed. I am always keen to play it because I feel there is something new that I will like about the game.
