Digimon World Remake Project

Hi VPL!

This is just something my team and I have been working on since last year. Not sure if any of you remember the original Digimon World game on PS1, but it was basically king of pet/monster raising and battling. It was truly an amazing game, so we thought to pay homage to the original and do a remake of a small section in UE4. I would one day LOVE to make a virtual pet game to this scale, but alas, it's such a monumental task that a full game would require a very large team.

From what have been done so far, it looks so good. It have been a while now, are there any new upgrades the game have seen so far?

I've been trying to figure this out as well. It was a solid project and finishing it would have been one of the best things to have happened though as far as I am concerned.

It might not be an easy project from their end. I think it was a side project. Everybody is eager to see the project finished, check it out to see how it comes out.

Unfortunately, it’s no longer in development according to the developer. I reached out to them on Twitter for confirmation.

Another one bites the dust even before it made it out. They didn't give any reason why they had to end it?

I hope they will find a way to break back into the project again. Maybe it was a financial issue that set them off it.
