Do you find grand strategy games too intimidating?

Well, I find grand strategy games too intimidating. Games like Crusader Kings III and Europa Universalis IV always overwhelms me with systems and information. However, I see players investing hundreds of hours into these games. Do you find these games intimidating? Do you think complexity is a strength or a barrier?

I don't play grand strategy games much, there is a massive learning cliff. I don't have that kind of passion to spend a lot of time to study the game and master the mechanics.

Nah, it just takes a bit longer to play as you map out your moves and decide how to proceed. I always find it nice as it distracts me from life things.
