Do you like colony management games?

I play a few colony management games like RimWorld and Dwarf Fortress. Do you play any colony management games? Do you like them? What do you think separates colony simulators from traditional strategy games?

I do not like colony management games. They are not my cup of my tea, and you won't see me playing them.

However, I do like roleplaying games, PPBG games and pet games though.

I do not specifically play colony management games but I play RTS games and some of these games have colony management. For example, I play Northgard, it has colony management feature. I have also recently started playing Dune: Spice Wars.

I haven't played a lot of colony management games but I do enjoy games like Colony Sim
