I think age plays a role in this too but I'm very sure that was never the case with me because from day one, I have never been good with pictures. Although, I must confess of loving my pictures taken unawares.
I also do the same thing with my dogs because I really like keeping memories of them because I know they don't get to live as long as human being do.
Same, I love taking pictures of them to remember them. But when they die it's not something that I can look at every day without being sad.

The thing with taking pictures and making videos is that the habit dawn on you. The more you keep doing it is the more you get used to it. Once you're used to it, it will be difficult to go a day without taking them.

I don't know why I hate men that uses Snapchat for pictures. It freaks me out. There was one that started talking to me, and yes, I saved his contact buy out of disappointment of posting Snapchat pictures of him made me to stop talking to him.
