I always have this mindset that everything they act in movies are not real especially when it have to do with combat. This is the reason why I don't always believe everything they show in movies when they are fighting.
They always show it that everything they are doing shouldn't be taken serious or try at home. Jackie Chan used to show all the moves he did in movies both real and unreal after the movies and that's the reason I love watching his movies.

It's only a few of them that are real. The rest are just tricks. The one which was real and fight carried out in real life was in Rocky movie. Those Sylvester Stallone took those punches for real and was hospitalised for 8 days for him to recover.

I never got bullied while at school, and in all honesty, I feel you shouldn't be in contact with anyone from the school considering the history you had with them. I have always told myself that I am not going to take it lightly with any kid who decides to bully my kids at school.
I had a decent amount of friends in school, but they all faded away in life like most friendships do from the school days. Being quiet and socially awkward puts a target on your forehead. One guy I got bullied off and on found out one of the girls I know a lot of the guys hung around with and thought was cute was my cousin and he was surprised when he heard that and never bullied me again. It's nice that I was no longer bullied by him again, but in the same sense, it's pathetic how having a "hot" cousin can deter that.

Only if it is possible for school management to find a way to do a way with bullies, it could have been better for most kids that are suffering at the hands of the bullies in school all the time but unfortunately that's not possible.
Yeah, bullies can leave a psychological effect on your mental state that often does not go away or slowly fades over time. I've always had a poor outlook on many human beings and it all started with being bullied in school. Sadly, a lot of people get away with treating you like dirt, but like you said, it's essentially impossible to stop.

I was able to (almost, 3 credits away and might just go to class 1 time) double-major with my bachelor's degree, 3 credits away from an Asian Studies certificate, and got my MBA in 36 months.

I CLEP/DSST a lot of courses as I'm very good at retaining short-term useless knowledge and taking multiple-choice tests, which got me through quite a few required credits. I was also approved to take 1.5x-2x courseload during my bachelor's because of my GPA. I finished it in (I think) 27 straight months.

Then, I entered a year-long MBA course and got my MBA.

I've considered getting a student loan (that I can discharge when complete) to get my PhD, just for the title, but I will likely never put it to practical use besides putting Dr. on my business card.

I also got about $80,000 in housing payments ($2250ish/mo) for going to school during that time. 🤑

The military has some good benefits. But, I also could've been sent home in a box instead. So, respect to those who didn't come home to get what they earned. 😢

I miss the structure and sense of accomplishment that came with learning new things. Sometimes I just took it out to taking online courses.

You failed in some of those courses you want to retake right 😂 😂.. I feel that way with some of my courses in the university.
Yes, I did but it's not that I wasn't brilliant, I was busy with school politics. Being president of the Faculty of Technology isn't easy my friend. I skip lots of lectures.

The only thing I missed is the social aspect, but not the homework or exams. Honestly, I do wish I can retake some courses with a fresh perspective.🤣
It's not a regret. We always want to remind time in order to do things perfectly but time can't be rewind. We take the lessons and move on. It's good to have some mind shift after doing some activities which will help us to do better in the future.

Of course, I understand. Everyone fails at one point. Some lecturers even screw you out of spite because you might be popular in school.

Yes, you understand the point perfectly. So, I barley have time to study. It was a tough one but in the end, it was all successful.

School is never easy. A lot of people want to go to school but they have money to finance it. Those who have the money are at the mercy of school system.
If school didn't show you some pepper, there's nothing you will never succeed in. There are some people trying their best to just leave school to avoid those frustrations that comes with graduating.
