And being a reader I would like to say that I prefer physical books much more. It's for something as simple as the sense of touch I get and the act of turning through pages. When it comes to reading, physical books are better for me. I can remember what I have read more and it’s more enjoyable. What about you?

I prefer Ebooks since i read a lot online especially articles and stuff.

I prefer to read e-books. I haven’t read a physical book in a while. I like being able to read a book directly on my phone instead.

I currently have 7 ebooks on my phone. I’d like to add some more to my collection soon.😁

If I can, I much rather read a physical book. I look at screens enough as is.

I don't have any problems with reading either of them. Recently, I've read more e-books than printed ones.

Ebooks also makes it very easy to understand some of the things that you are reading and bring lesser pressure on finishing it at a particular time. It is what I enjoy as well.

You can find several benefits of using e-books since they make reading easier. The text function makes reading easier because I can modify both font size and screen brightness to match what my eyes is comfortable with.

It's the same thing with regular books too. The only difference is how easy it is to go with your e-books without any stress unlike taking printed books.

You are right. Ebooks give you the opportunity to read those books anytime that you want and wherever you are. This is why a lot of people are focusing more on getting more ebooks instead.

I just can't get along with eBooks at all. I struggle to look at and concentrate on the screen enough to be able to read at a reasonable speed. When I have the time and I have a book I'm really interested in, I could reach a 400 page paperback in a 3-4 hour sitting. Doing the same thing on an eReader or something would take me multiple sittings over multiple days probably.

I understand you very well. Too much screen time isn't good for your eyes. I'm sure that's why some people prefer reading hard copies.

I love reading e-books but because of this, I don't read them often. I already have too much screen time. If I read books too much on screen, it's going to be very bad for my eyes.

Eyes doesn't have spare. If it's damaged, that's going to be a serious challenge. Even if it's what a surgery can fix, you can never be the same.

I much prefer to read real books... they just feel much more authentic

I get your point. Reading physical books is much better, especially for one who doesn't enjoy reading voluminous digital content. My mom is like that as she prefers reading physical books as well.

They are indeed more authentic. Do you know books have a smell that feels natural too. I love that like the smell of rain on the soil.

I need some good book recommendations. I need something solid in psychological thriller/horror to read this month.

Physical books are always quite good for me. I don't have good eyes that can be on the screen reading for long. So, I focus mostly on physical books when I want to read.

I don't like reading e-books because of my eyes. I felt dizzy and lots of headache whenever I am reading online so I stopped doing it. I prefer to read physical books more.

It is still going to be the same thing if you are trying to read too much with physical books. Everything should be done in moderation.

At least I won't constrained my eyes to view the words very well. Reading physical books are much more better by me, put a pen or wrap a paper in between when I get tired.

Used to like books the most.

As I get older, it gets harder for me to see fine print so eBooks makes things a lot easier. In reality, I'd rather listen to it than read it because then I can multitask.

I prefer an eBook over a physical copy because it's easier to keep up where you're at on a smartphone and it automatically bookmarks the page for you.

I’d recommend checking out some of Marcel Proust’s books. He has written a lot of good books. I’ve actually recently started reading some of his books.

Especially “In search of Lost time”.

I prefer to read physical books. I love the smell of a new book as I'm reading it.

I do have some e-books on my tablet but I primarily use that when I'm traveling because my tablet (along with the charging cable) take up very little room in my carry on bag.

I'm on with you on that! There is a certain magic with holding books in your hand and feeling the weight of the paper. I feel connected to the characters in the story more when I read physical books.

I only keep a tablet with e-books on it for the convenience of having a bunch of books with me while I'm traveling and not taking up much room in my carry on. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have one at all.

This is very okay and a connection that you can build with reading books. It is not always that way for others as there are people who would prefer not reading physical books at all no matter how we take a look at it.

True. There are some people that don't understand the magic of holding a book in your hands while you read it and the smell of the book.

I like to read physical books but I read ebooks more because it is easier to read, easier to carry and easier to store.
