Do you prefer reading physical books or e-books?

A lot of the movies that I watch these days are usually a movie that is based on a book (even if it's loosely based). Not all movies........but quite a few of them.

I do prefer the book as opposed to the movie but there are some movies that aren't that bad.

I am not against them -_-"
Just that...I wouldn't be looking forward to the movie releases... For days or months!

Based on the words it's kinda easy to form your own landscapes, character faces and such...

I love physical books because I love holding books in my hand. Flipping the pages is also something special and I get so engrossed in it and whenever I finish a book, I'm always accomplished. Physical book is the only book that can create that level of excitement.

I do that a lot too because such movies which are based off books will have so much contents you're looking forward to when watching it. For example, I love what they did with Shōgun. Have you read the book?

I have not. I have a lot of books in my "to be read" pile....

I do love writing as well from time to time.....but I kinda get bored after writing a chapter or two. My family usually urges me to write further if something is interesting....
But I just find reading more interesting or find something else to do -.-"

I don't really go out of my way to watch the movie.
There are many others who would love to see such movies but not me -_-"
I do watch it if I get a chance but that's it. The same goes to live action as well

I know that personally I can't do without watching movies. It's a lot easier for me to consume movie contents than read. Unless it's a book that's exceptional, that's when I will go with it over movies.

Probably Kyo Kara ore wa manga. I have downloaded all the chapters already for offline reading in the app ^^

I read Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. From the feel of paper and the sound of turning pages, nothing can duplicate holding a book in one's hands.

I just find physical books boring to read these days. I have been so used to the screen that I don't know how to read anything from any medium that is not a screen. I don't get to read things on print beyond 3 minutes before my attention is lost completely.

For sure. I find it to be quite enjoyable reading books on my iPhone just as much as turning pages in a regular book. The learning methods is just the same as reading a physical book to me.

The last time I read a physical book was probably when I was in high school, tbh.

I’d recommend checking out some of Marcel Proust’s books. He has written a lot of good books. I’ve actually recently started reading some of his books.

Especially “In search of Lost time”.

I finally got to pick out one his book (
Sodom and Gomorrah) and it was a great read. The Fugitive is his next book I'm targeting to read.

These days, I am reading ebooks. It is easier and more convenient
