Do you prefer to play big virtual pet sites or smaller ones?

As a virtual pet site player, do you prefer to play one that has a larger, more active player base, or one with a smaller, tight-knit community?


A smaller player base generally makes it easier to connect and network with other players. It’s also easier to obtain rare items and get ahead in the economy. On the other hand, a pet site with a larger player base is more competitive, making rare items harder to obtain. Communicating with others on a larger site can sometimes feel like shouting into the void.


Personally, I enjoy both. The size of a pet site’s community isn’t a major factor for me as if the game is fun and has great features, I’ll play it regardless.


What about you? Do you have a preference, or does it not matter much to you?

It don't matter to me. I'd be willing to join a new pet site if it had potential, cool features, and pets. I would get bored, and leave a virtual pet site if it only had a few members.

As long as it's active, and I like the site. I'd play.

I guess it's all about balance. I like the small pet sites because, in the community aspect, it becomes easier to meet others. Large sites, on the other hand, really have better features and updates. You could always find something new that will keep the game fun and lively.

While the sheer size of a pet site doesn't matter to me, I have observed that smaller virtual pet sites always have more bonded community than those mega virtual pet sites. And it is good for some players that love the community feel.

I play both big and small virtual pet games because both of them have their advantages. The big pet sites would offer you more features and a wider range of activities to pick from and that will keep the game very exciting. The smaller sites bring more intimacy in terms of community experience because it is much easier to connect with other players
