You can't wait to enjoy being in the world of magic with the reboot of the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series. I'm a Potter fan too, so I'm looking forward to it.

I normally watch movies. I don't watch a lot of tv.

That may change though when the reboot of the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series comes out.
Often a lot of people see movies as a way of going to the theatre to watch them. It is funny that you singled out the Harry Potter and the Twilight series here. Those are two gigantic movies which could easily hook you to watch more of the television series.

It's like how I'm also looking forward to The Last of Us season 2 which comes out this year in Spring. Have you watched season 1 or played the video game.

I watch both TV shows and movies, but I think I prefer TV shows mainly because of my concentration. Because TV shows are generally a longer watch, I find I can follow along better overall. With movies, sometimes if I lose concentration for just a few seconds I can miss an event that makes the rest of the movie very difficult to understand... generally with TV series it's quite easy to catch up if you find yourself in that situation.
Of course, I do not disagree with you at all. The same applies to TV shows over movies for a number of the same arguments. Due to the structure of the shows, the viewer is able to easily follow and even re-join in case the program is gone for several minutes. Besides, programs shown on television have better character creation and elaborate plots, which entice me most.

Choosing between movies and TV series is hard for me because I truly enjoy both. They allow me to forget my worries for a tad while and provide endless entertainment, especially since I live alone.

The only TV show in my mind right now is The Last of Us season 2. Everything else I'm watching feels like a waste of time 😂 😂

I feel you! I’m also looking forward to the second season of The Last of Us. But for me it’s movies all the way. It was good to know that while TV series can be wonderful, there is a likelihood of getting bored when the seasons take long.

I like movies because of shorter length. You need patience to watch a show, unfortunately I don't have it.

I mostly like to watch movies because I don't have to give them long hours.

I feel the exact same way with long movies. I can't watch a long movie that's over 3-4 hours. I'll literally turn it off and finish the movie on another day.

I can binge watch a TV show any day of the week though, that's nothin for me.😀

Interestingly I enjoy long movies, if they have strong characters and a good story, something like The Lord of the Rings.

The Lord of the Ring remains one of the best TV shows that I have ever watched. Everything about the movie right from the beginning was excellent. I plan to watch it again soon!

I used to prefer TV shows, but now since I can get so busy with life and work, I much prefer movies. Movies are usually less than 2 hours and tell you the entire story within that timeframe. You also don't need to remember what happened in a previous episode since a movie is always a one-time watch session vs. a show that may be interrupted by ads or waiting for a new episode. I do enjoy watching limited series though, these can typically be started and finished in a day or two.

When it comes to movies, what are the best ones that you've seen this year? Do you stream those movies on Netflix or are you more relaxed watching downloaded ones?

I prefer to watch TV shows because its seems entertaining and keep you more relaxed ,but in exceptional case's I believe that movie is the best because you can easily watch it anytime.
