I used to have a subscription service that delivered our food weekly, but it got old after a few months because it would constantly be the same food, and it was too difficult to swap items out for other items.

It's just easier to go to the grocery store with planning for what you want to cook done ahead of time.

I completely understand! Despite the fact that you can buy absolutely everything online, there is something special about the feeling of holding and smelling fresh fruits and vegetables. Moreover, I also like to examine the expiry dates and decide at which counter I want to select my meats. I also don’t like shopping groceries online too.

Well, for me, I don’t need to go grocery shopping anymore; they deliver to my doorstep and I can easily sort by date and quality. Quite simple!

I live down the street from a grocery store. It's convenient living so close, so I don't need to travel far.
Where we finally moved to, we're also a stone's throw away from many grocery stores that specialize in different offerings (i.e., one will sell cheaper meats while one will have premium vegetables, etc.). We will shop at all 3 for different items in one go as they're all on the same street, not but a half-mile apart.

It’s a lot easier to do this now than before. You’ll also save a lot of time instead of browsing the store. Sometimes they’ll give you deals if you order online too. I know that my family members like to order groceries from HEB and Walmart a lot, but there are some days when they’ll pick up the order instead.

I like to talk to local farmers and butchers. And I also want to see what I want buy, to know if it's good or not.
It's only when I want to buy fruits and vegetables that I make use of the local farmer's market around me. They have specific days they sell everything fresh. I go there and pick whatever I needed.
