Do You Think Roblox is Still Safe for Kids

In many countries Roblox is getting a ban, and the most prominent ones are Russia, Egypt, and Turkey. In the UK, the media carried a huge report about a monitoring children 24/7 on Roblox, and interestingly they quoted its developer.
Roblox is a popular game for kids 8-12 but do you think it is still safe?

I keep hearing unsavory things about it, if/when I have kids I don't plan on letting them anywhere near it.

I don't believe it is, which is why the Government has been going after Roblox for quite sometime now.

Roblox needs to put more safety measures in place for kids that are playing their game.

The problem is whether they will have the will to put these measures in place because the way that I am looking at it, it looks like they don't care and are more focused on increasing their revenue.

Since Roblox allows social gaming experience, sometimes it might expose kids to bad things. I think parents should monitor their kids, and everything will be fine.

The challenge is that most parents would rather their kids not play Roblox than put them in a situation where they have to do the monitoring. It is never an easy process for most parents because they might have other activities that they are doing at that particular time.

It is the responsibility of parents to check what their kids are doing. Developers cannot be held accountable for the negligence from parents side.

I 100% agree with you on this one! This is the reason why so many platforms are having to require ID checks now because parents won't be responsible and do their best to monitor what their kids are doing online.
