On my Facebook feed, I just see story after story of the worst child abuse imaginable. And also, people could point out stuff like the Nazi death camps, Hiroshima, the existence of crimes by serial killers against obviously innocent people.

Well, one side of the argument is saying this stuff obviously proves God doesn't exist or he would intervene. However, opposing thought is that real freedom cannot allow for God's intervention in the way atheists etc. believe it should be.

When you ask this question, what God comes in your mind, Christian God, Muslim's God, Buddhist God, Hindu God, what else?
I think God exist but they don't take interest in human affairs.

Thank you so much for this assessment mate. For the first time, I've seen another person who thinks the same thing with me.

I completely believe God exits but right now, he's on a sabbatical leave and not interested in getting involved with what's happening to the human race.

That's interesting interpretation.
I do believe in God, but I am more of a spiritualist

From what the Bible says, the Christian and Jewish God is highly interested in believers, but doesn't seem to be interested outside of that.

And, on top of that, the believers must demonstrate strong loyalty to get favors.

But then again, as the Book of Job says, God isn't all about a transaction of blessings for behavior. In fact, the worst things also happen to devout believers and those below the age of accountability in this life. All that's said in Job is God restored all things now or in the next world.

I respect everyone belief and opinion about God's existence but as for me, God exists and he's heavily involved in what happens in our lives.

Well, you know we live in softer times, in some aspects, than in the past. In that past, it was common for most of the offspring to die at birth or in childhood.

But nowadays, it's a major upsetting tragedy for that to happen. However, people of the past didn't blame whatever God they believed in for it.

I don’t think suffering and cruelty automatically prove that God doesn’t exist. The existence of evil is certainly one of the strongest challenges to belief in God, though. Different religions explain suffering in different ways.
