What do you think? Do newer Pokemon games need vast improvements in order to keep their fanbase?

What should Nintendo do to get returning users that switched over to Palworld?

Palworlds updates are constant, and I think it'll become even a bigger threat to Nintendo in the future.

I think they need to start spending more time on the Pokemon games. Recently they've been rushing them, heck Scarlet and Violet had a bunch of bugs when they first came out. They should also possibly start looking into trying to make a game where the player can visit past regions.

I hope so, the Pokémon games have been stagnated and badly coded. I hope Nintendo puts more love into them.

I think the answer is NO, because nintendo have such established brands in people's minds that they'll eat up any slop they put out regardless. It's other companies that need to work hard to compete with them to even come close, which is depressing.

Which is to say, Nintendo can do whatever they want and they know it. I hope that changes at some point.

Also I'll be really bummed if the next best thing is Palworld, because I don't like Palworld I'm not even gonna lie XD

Pokemon has a lot of loyal fans. The palworld show that people want fresh ideas. Nintendo can’t keep releasing half-finished games and expect applause. If they upgrade the graphics, story and mechanics properly, people will respect it again.

Do they need to? No. Nintendo can do whatever they want with Pokemon. They can throw out the sloppiest game and people will buy it. It's depressing.
The last Pokemon game I genuinely enjoyed was Pokemon Legends Arceus. It gave a different gameplay. It was challenging. It's one of my favorite overall Pokemon games.
Sword/Shield was bad. Violet/Scarlet was okay. I haven't gotten very far into ZA because the hand holding pissed me off. (I'll go back eventually though; hell I paid for it after all)

I don't do much Steam because it's not always compatible with a controller (I can't do keyboard) but maybe one day I'll try Palworld!

If they want me to buy it yes... yes they do.
Im sick of it being the same thing over and over.. Im sick of their lack of care and attention im sick of the bugs...
But theres alot of people who will just blindly buy whatever says Pokémon on it so what i say doesnt really matter.

This is how I feel as well. Pokemon can become even better if they truly want more players to play it.

Yes, there are lots of us who are loyal to the brand, but it is not too much asking for a better game from them or is it?

I agree with your point because Nintendo has built a huge Pokémon brand and a loyal fanbase that even if the quality of the games declines, sales remain high. The franchise has been a cultural phenomenon since 1996 and has sold millions of copies worldwide. This gives developers the freedom to release titles that don't have much polish but still get a lot of support. It's depressing for gamers who want innovation but their business model is based on nostalgia and players' attachment to Pokémon.
