What's the habit of yourself pet when you're still sleeping in the morning? Do they try to wake you up when you're still sleeping as they wake up before you? How do they try waking you up?

When we had our cat Smokey who we sadly lost in July 2022, she used to always wake me up every morning at roughly the same time because she wanted to be fed.

I always remember one time being asleep, and I must have started waking up as I heard a noise and when I opened my eyes, Smokey had her face right in front of mine LOL, never jumped so badly.

Our girls Alice and Missy (cats) sometimes will wake my wife up. But they never wake me up thank goodness. And I am glad because I have a hard time trying to sleep.

I think cats have a way of knowing when someone's very tired and leave you alone to rest. It's probably why they never bothered with you but only your wife.

I think you're right because my wife needs a lot less sleep than I do and she wakes up at least 2hrs before I wake up.

My granny had a dog that had that habit of coming on her bed to wake her up once it is 5am. Ziba doesn't want to know whether you are happy or sad, she will come up to the bed once it is that time.

My buddy tells me his loaf of a pet will flop onto his chest or start scratching something if he doesn't get up in time lol.

LOL, I had a pet like that and he would paw me in the face at 5 am for cat treats. I complained to my doctor about it and he said you rewarding his behavior and not to do it anymore. Sure enough, I quit getting up and he started leaving me alone and letting me sleep lol. 😀

Exactly. Cats knows such things but I can't say the same thing about dogs because they are too playful to observe that 😂.

I visited my cousin brother at another state and I saw his cutie little dog. I fall in love with it. When we are about to sleep, my brother carried the dog to his bed where they used to sleep together. It was almost midnight before I drift to sleep but I don't think it's up to 4 hours and I noticed something was tugging on my blanket and it was the dog. That's how my sleep ended and we started playing till daybreak.

The pet is definitely hungry 😂. Daddy needs to wake up and feed the pet otherwise there's gonna be trouble in paradise.

Lol yep, never bothers the 'mom' in the relationship, just him every morning.
I would say that the pet loves him more and if there's any way to show whom the pet is more loyal to, it's definitely going to be him.

When your pets are attached to you very well, they will always wake you up in the morning if they are up before you. They are never going to allow you rest.

Dogs are always very playful most of the time. It's why I don't joke with having them around because they are going to fill your life with joy.

If I get woken up now, it's usually by the neighbour's cat when he decides to come round.

You said when you had pets? You no no longer have them right now? What happened to them?

I love dogs so much than other animals. They are fun to be with and they love to play very well without getting tired. You can play with them for a longer period of time and forget other things you need to do.

Everything depends on how you actually take care of your pets because my grandmother is someone who loves cat a lot and they always play around her whenever she's around unfortunately she is dead. I miss her so much.

Cats are too stubborn for my liking and they like fighting especially if they are not getting what they want from you. I like them but I don't like them to be close to me. Dogs are too emotional and they knows how their owner feels.

Oh yes, my little cat buddy Milo has no problem smacking my face in the morning when he wants his morning breakfast 🙂

I watched a video on Tiktok yesterday where a cat dragged a board where it's feed me to his owner and was pointing at it. It was so funny.

I think they understand your plight and decided not to disturb you at all. They decided to allow you take all the time and sleep as you want. The cats knew that your wife will attend to them even while she's feeling sleepy😆.

Cats and dogs are very passionate and lovely animals. They are always attached to their owners especially when their owners are very good to them.

I hate seeing where a cat or dog is being abused. I watched how a dog was kicked so hard in the House of the Dragon Season Episode 1 yesterday, it broke my heart.

We demand justice for the dog. A kick for a kick!

Although, I wasn't happy with how the episode 1 came out. It was so poor based on what was written in the book. It was under played.

Mark Stobbart (Cheese) assures fans that the dog is perfectly fine.

According to him - “Let’s just chill about the dog! We were best pals. No canines were launched in anger. Rats, however…”

It's good that the dog wasn't hurt but frankly speaking, I wasn't happy with that kick for any reason whatsoever. They shouldn't be showing that kind of abuse to dogs.

My dog has been my alarm clock. When it's time for me to wake up, she's crashes my door lightly, then bark once if I ignore her.
