Elemera is an open-world, online multiplayer monster-taming game where exploration, socialization, and experimentation converge in a mysterious, ever-evolving ecosystem.
Elemera are elemental creatures that you engage with in your adventure across a world who all have the capacity to use their elemental abilities to shape said world.
Journey through elementally-charged biomes alongside your ‘Elemera’ - elemental creatures that can use their unique abilities to shape the world alongside you. You can battle, trade, rescue, or simply play with these creatures, who each possess unique personalities, relationships, preferences, and appearances. Their stats can be reconfigured, too, so your Elemera are totally unique to you and your adventure through this living, reactive world.
Rather than collecting or catching, our world has a focus on connecting, socializing, exploring, and bonding. The Elemera will remember your actions, triumphs, failures, and moments you’ve spent playing together, and that doesn’t always mean battle. Some ‘Elemera’ are battle-focused, but others may instead follow you to repay an act of kindness, for example.
Those that are born for the thrill of the fight can engage in 2v2 turn-based combat to achieve glory and items as a reward. Allies can also join your battle while in progress, allowing for co-operative strategic, element-based combat. There are 90 ‘Elemera’ planned for launch, with more unlockable by backers!
The fully-simulated ecosystem evolves both with your actions, and without - you’re just one thread in a rich, unfolding tapestry. With online multiplayer running on player-hosted servers that support up to 256 players (dependent on the server host’s hardware), you have the capacity to save or doom entire biomes, or simply see how nature plays out. While you quest and explore one region, the rest of the world continues to evolve - Elemera go about their lives, biome borders ebb and flow, and life persists.

Xenith Games is an employee-owned studio of industry professionals from around the world. Any profit the game makes upon release will go directly to the team, including those who may have left - ex-employees will still receive royalties!
Prior to launching the Kickstarter, the team has been working on this project entirely part-time in addition to our individual day jobs. The success of this campaign would allow us to pay the team to fully commit to the project, and add some extra staff members that we need to complete development. Most importantly, it would show us that you want this game to exist as much as we do!
$250,000 - Linux Support - This funds the development of the base game of Elemera for Windows and Linux.
$300,000 - Divergent Evolutions - This feature will allow most species of Elemera the ability to adapt to different environmental pressures and stimuli, resulting in branched evolution lines.
$350,000 - Play-Your-Way Suite - We will be able to include distinct classes to support different playstyles.
$400,000 - Mythical Elemera - This will add the elusive mythical Elemera to the game. It’s up to the player to solve the puzzle of where and how to encounter them.
$450,000 - Multiplayer Factions - Players will be able to form groups to claim territory and build dynamic structures that impact the world, teleport nodes, player-run gyms, and more.
$500,000 - Modding API - We will add native support for mod creation and sharing.
$550,000 - Console Support - they will be able to add console support.
