Have you tested games, have you been early members to any game being developed? Have you done a thorough review of any games, not just a couple of lines but an elaborate review, something like article length review or a video review. Well, I have not tested a game and I have never been early member of any game that was being developed but I have done game reviews. I once was a staff writer for a gaming blog.

Yes, I have done game testing on micro job platform before. I was able to identify some bugs and I gave an honest review on it.

I joined games as a beta tester, but I've never been paid for testing out games.

No, never had any luck like that. Though I rather not test, it be too buggy for my taste.

I was one of the persons that was hired to review a local android game that is hosted on Playstore. The name of the game is Naija Whot. The developers saw my article reviewing Pro Evolution Soccer 20 on a forum. They invited me to be among the early testers and write a genuine review for the game. I was paid $10 for it.

I have written reviews about other games as well, but not to a degree of a main writer. Game testing may be an interesting experience to obtain some practical experience and give feedback to the developers.

This is interesting. I've not had such an opportunity and would wish to know how it goes. Did they get to contact you first or did you see an ad and decide to apply?

No, I haven’t done game testing or reviews myself. But it’s something I find genuinely interesting because it’s not just about playing games, it’s about understanding mechanics, spotting design flaws, and thinking critically about what makes an experience work or fall flat.

I am a casual gamer, I haven’t done reviews or beta testing
