Misplacing money at home can be frustrating. I mean, being in a situation where you can't even say why you haven't seen the money you kept around the corner. Have you had such an experience at all?

I have had this experience several times. I will be turning around and going up and down searching for the money at the exact spot I thought I kept it.

Sometimes, I used to find the money at the exact spot as if something took it and later return it and I can also find the money on another spot.

I've had this happen to me a few times in life. Though these days I rarely leave the house without my wallet and I don't carry much money with me, I have a debit card.

Yep same, I am always misplacing my money although it is very rare now I keep a lot of cash in the house for this reason.

I might suddenly find a dollar bill or five laying around, but most of the bigger money I make sure to keep safe.

That's being smart. I don't like keeping the big money anyhow as I wouldn't want to have any issues at all when I would want to make use of it.

Misplace? No, Strategically placed? Yes.

Sure, I might have some change in the couch. However, I have much more tucked away in various spots that you'd never expect to find cash, including precious metal stacks. 🤫

I'd consider myself a borderline prepper. I have a "go bag" with $1000, 100,000 yen, some silver, and an ounce of gold in it ready to grab and go at a moment's notice. Hopefully, if it comes to it, I have more time to put more in it.

I once misplaced my wallet with $100 inside. I turned the house upside down but I was lucky to find it in the freezer. I laughed hard that faithful day.

This has happened to me several times. The other time, I misplaced $200 cash that was meant for my rent. Thankfully, I found it months later hidden between couch cushions.

You were really lucky. How were you able to pay the rent during the period that you were unable to get that money then?

I have a couple of times but I still manage to find them but not when I'm looking for it. I might be doing another thing and I will just come up on the money. It makes me feel good whenever it happens.

You are right on point because it has occurred to me several times. I often find it when I've already forgotten about it. I think it’s because we are too anxious when looking for the money.

I have on a few occasions had money at home and have placed it down somewhere and then not remembered where I placed it. Things such as this tend to happen more than I admit. I always find it but it's so stressful when you misplace money.

I once lost some cash in my house and that really bothered me. But I got it after searching it all over. But I find it a week after.

Your mind must have been quite restless at that particular point in time. It is never easy to be in that type of situation where you misplace money especially one that is needed to solve an urgent need at a particular point.

You need to hide it better. Hopefully she doesn't spend all your money.

That's his daughter, and spending his money won't be an issue to him, I guess. So, he should come clean and stop hiding the money, lol.

I suppose, but it's also bad if she thinks stealing is okay.

She should be taught that taking those money without permission is wrong and shouldn't be allowed to occur at all.

She's like a fox 😂. I can't hide anything from her in that house. She can sniff them out.

It's high time you've got to sit her down and let her know that there are consequences with certain actions that she takes. If not, she may continue with that behaviour as an adult.

She's taking the money and putting it in her piggy bank which is a very smart thing to do. It's a positive thing in my eyes because she's building on her saving habit.
