Cirrus Dragons
An Ancient breed with curious origins, the Cirrus dragons came into existence in the wake of several natural disasters. These benevolent dragons are now reaching out to join the dragon clans of Sornieth!

There are billowing wisps of cloud emerging from the shoulders. On top there is the female pose with the skink and spinner genes in dark orange and purrple. In the middle is the male pose with the Faire and Carousel genes in shades of blue and ivory. On the bottom is the hatchling pose with the Cherub gene, in shades of green.

Girin Charity Familiar:
With the release of the Cirrus dragon, whose design and lore inspiration borrows from the Korean girin, we are introducing a limited time event girin familiar. This familiar is part of our site-wide fundraiser for Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a nonprofit organization that uses legal advocacy to affect key civil rights issues that have a significant impact on Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and immigrant communities.

100% of the profits raised from the sale of the girin familiar will be donated to Asian Americans Advancing Justice. At the end of this fundraiser, the girin familiar will be retired to ensure we do not profit from this familiar.

It wouldn't be an Ancient Breed release without an impressive slate of unique and parallel genes!

Fundraiser FAQ

The Fundraiser Basics
  • The donation amount is set at $2.50 USD and can be made through our site here.
  • Players can use either PayPal or their credit card.
  • The girin familiar will be delivered directly to your account after a successful transaction.
  • 100% of the fundraiser profits goes to the AAJC, Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
    • This is a nonprofit organization that uses legal advocacy to affect key civil rights issues that have a significant impact on Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and immigrant communities.
  • Flight Rising will be contributing a $500 donation in addition to any profits that the girin familiar raises.


The Girin Familiar
  • The girin familiar is not account-bound.
  • The girin familiar is not limited to one per player.
  • The girin familiar can be traded and gifted with other players.
  • The girin familiar cannot be used for Crim, Baldwin, and other areas of the site where the familiar may be consumed via gameplay mechanics.
  • The girin familiar is eligible to show up in Roundsey’s Raffle Roulette after the fundraiser ends.
    • This familiar will be treated like other retired familiars, such as the Light Sprite or Speedy.


Can I make a one-time larger donation through this page?

At this time, no. Players are only able to make donations in single increments of $2.50. The time between the changes we needed to make for this release alongside our development plans for our Anniversary Event just isn't there, not without crunch and not without risking rushed code.

But! We know many players are planning on making multiple donations to help players who want a girin familiar but are unable to participate in the fundraiser directly. We've also heard your concerns about the price point being too low for some credit or bank cards, as well as your concerns that multiple small donations will flag your transactions with your banking institution. After our Anniversary Event next month, work will begin to introduce the option to purchase multiple copies of the familiar in a single transaction.

This will likely take the shape of donation packages, similar (but not identical) to our gem packages. They will be priced in increments of $2.50 USD and will reward multiple girin familiars, appropriate to the amount donated.

We understand that not having this functionality at the beginning of the fundraiser isn't ideal. Our team is discussing the possibility of extending the fundraiser if it takes us longer than anticipated to bring the donation package options to you. We will share any information regarding extensions to the 90-day timeline with the community when/if that information is available.

What are your thought's on Flight Rising's newest Ancient Breed release, the Cirrus Dragons? Will you be adding on these dragons to your clan?
 
The Citrus Dragons are a great addition in Flight Rising. I’m interested in this creature and might have to check it out.
 
I would certainly check this out and possibly make a purchase. So cool to know that Flight Rising is chasing a social cause with this. It really creates an entirely different vibe with the Korean girin inspiration.

I like the way the Cirrus Dragons are designed to look cool. I enjoy the fact that in Flight Rising always comes up with new features. I also want to get one of these dragons. They are very different compared to the normal ones.
