Gaming Monitor vs TV: Which is Better?

I like using my gaming monitor when it comes to gaming. But I have a friend who prefers to use his TV because of the larger screen, and it's even cheaper.
I still prefer the gaming monitor for its fast response time and the advance settings it comes with..

The bigger the display output, the better view for me when I'm playing video games. It's why I always go for the TV with bigger screen.

Yes, the big screen does matter a lot. It's the major reason why so many people do not like mobile games. They cannot provide that widescreen experience you would get with a TV.

That's the major reason why so may gamers prefer the gaming monitor. The Input lag is a major crucial factor to consider, but when it comes to HDR support, I am giving it to TV.

Most new tvs come with wireless broadcast as well, when someone doesn't want to deal with an HDMI.

I agree with you. Gaming monitors are made with the interest of the gamers in mind, they come with things like a shorter response time, higher refresh rate and lower input lag. Although, TVs have come a long way in terms of gaming but they are still not as good as monitors, especially for PC gaming.

I believe it is a good idea to use smart TV to play games. It's easy and saves money. So, it's not necessary to buy a new monitor. That is why it is a perfect choice for many gamers.

Gaming monitor is designed to provide better features that are specific to gaming needs. The ability to move quickly, adjust aspects are what you can't get with TV. Also, the display modes and a lower input lag make time for a much more responsive gaming experience

It's why I'll always go with a TV all the time especially with all the new smart and improved TV they are producing now. Smart HD TV are high end better than any gaming monitor you can find.

I personally prefer to use a tv. They're cheaper than gaming monitors and they're bigger too. Of course you can always get a large monitor, heck you can have multiple ones but if you're playing console games you should go with a TV IMO.
