Has anyone happened to find some decent games on a mac?
I've used a MacBook once but I've never personally owned one,
I'm more towards Windows for what i do 😀

I don’t think there’s many available games that aren’t on Windows. Iirc there’s a Mac search function on Steam, and there’s also the Mac App Store.

Then there’s emulators of course.

When people hear "Computer Gaming" they normally think of Windows for some reason but it's good that there are some options for a Mac.
ofc I have never personally tried the Steam app for Mac-only Windows so I am not sure how good that could be

Well the majority of developers make games for what platform is selling the best, so when 75% of computer ownership is Windows based, it makes sense why Windows has significantly more games.

Also most people buying Macs are commonly in the creative arts, and the hardware tends to reflect that, and gaming is an afterthought of “well it’s cool if it runs, but not a dealbreaker if it doesn’t”. A computer built for audio/video production doesn’t translate to gaming performance. You’ll see in the software/hardware department for those fields, there’s almost always Mac compatibility. So you’ll see where the priority is.

Unfortunately, I haven't used Mac products. They have never interested me once and it's why I don't have it. I've never been a fan of Apple products until iPhone 14 Pro Max came out.

I discovered that the Mac platform now offers more and more gaming options which include specific titles that users may find appealing despite their initial doubts. Gaming could has presented me with an exciting new discovery on gaming.

I was following up on an update about Mac and found out that Apple recently introduced the M1 chip and that have has very well enhanced gaming on Mac.

It's pretty hard from what game makers remark:

Most likely why we don't see many mac games.

I don't own a Mac but the journey of gaming on Mac has been sort of evolution. I have seen a lot of gaming titles across different gaming niches being released that are native to Mac. I think the Apple silicon chips are a big factor that has made that possible. I play Baldur's Gate 3 and Hades on my friend's MacBook pro and they are cool.

That’s cool you’ve played Baldur’s Gate 3 on a Mac. I didn’t expect Macs to handle those types of games so well. I tried Hades on my friend’s Mac once too, and it ran surprisingly smooth.
