Is there a show or movie that is kind of bad but you still go back and rewatch it either alone or with friends? Maybe there is a movie you like that has a rep for being bad but you genuinely like it.

Well, I don't rewatch the entire season or even entire episode but sometimes I like to rewatch few scenes from the show I enjoyed watching. Spartacus is a show often criticized for graphic sex and violence but sometimes I enjoy rewatching some scenes.

You're absolutely correct. It's also the same thing for the TV show Rome. I enjoyed watching and rewatching both of them.

The Fifty Shades of Grey is another one which is considered the baddest. Have you seen it?

I watched Spartacus and rewatched some scenes that I found enjoyable.
I also watched fifty shades of grey, though people don't like it but I love it so much.

The rate at which they had sex in Spartacus, I know they must have carried out tests to make sure everyone of them is free from any STI's because that was mad.

I've been both a big fan of the book and the TV series of Outlander for quite a long time. Some people might not consider it as high brow literature but I did.

I don't know if it's nostalgia some movies from my childhood have now become guilty pleasures. Maybe because they played so damn much on TV I can't help but have a little affection for them and sometimes rewatch them to feel like a nostalgic.

Watching a movie which is entirely bad is completely different. I wouldn't do it either because it's going to be wasting my time.
There's been some movies that I watched that where so bad that I can't believe I wasted my time watching them. I just found the storyline kind of interesting, especially on Tubi. Some of their movies are just flat out ridiculous. They're poorly made, but some of them are funny.

I would only need like 10 to 20 minutes watch time on the movie to make my decision immediately on either keep going or dropping it immediately.

Mac and Me is a guilty pleasure movie of mine. It's terrible, and the whole premise of the movie was to promote McDonald's but man I loved it as a child and I still do. I find it hilarious at times too when it's not supposed to be funny though. I found a copy on DVD at V-Stock a few years ago, it's hard to find it on any streaming platform.

I don't even give it that long. It has 5-10 minutes to capture my attention, or I'm done. It's like watching a sports game that wasn't that great, but you still decide to watch the replays.

I'll read the reviews of a crappy movie or show and maybe, give it another chance, but it's highly unlikely that I will. There are movies on Tubi that look like they were recorded on a crappy phone, but some of them are actually decent.

I only give it that much time so it doesn't look like I was in a haste to write off the movie but once that duration is passed, if it doesn't cut it, I'm out.

Haha, I do the same. I give a movie a fair chance, then if it’s not working, I ghost it. I once sat through a terrible sci-fi for forty minutes hoping it’d pick up, then left and felt zero guilt.

To be honest, I know that feeling. I’ve wasted time hoping a show or movie would finally get better but sometimes it just doesn’t. I once watched an horror film in college thinking it’d surprise me, but it stayed bad all the way.
