Have You Ever Been Emotionally Attachment With Virtual Pets?

Frankly speaking, I have never been emotionally attached with virtual pets but I have heard that many players feel genuine care for their digital pets. Have you ever felt sad, guilty, or proud because of a virtual pet? What moments made that attachment feel real rather than just part of a game?

Not really, I liked them but I wouldn't get too involved with them.

I like my pets but have never been emotionally attached. Maybe because they don't exist for real

Oh totally. My first virtual pet was in Neopets years ago. I'd get genuinely worried if it was sick or sad. Sounds silly now but you put time into raising them, you can't help it. Some of those pixels feel like actual pets after a while. No shame in that.
