Only if they died and went to find another site that is more active.
It’s always disappointing when a game becomes too reliant on its cash shop and stops introducing fresh content.I quit playing Celestial Equine.
Not only did it become far too expensive to commission staff artists to create (or recolor) genetics and make custom Breeds, but the site became far too Cash Shop-dependent. If you don't own Custom-made genes, your horses are no longer worth anything (it's very P2W.) The community is extremely self-entitled, many players are toxic/abusive and the current (as of October 2024) staff members leave a lot to be desired. (Not that the site's owner, Mae, was a good person by any stretch of the imagination before she decided to let the head artist become the public-facing administrator.)
I stopped playing Wajas.com a long time ago, because it's a very hard game to care about, given how P2W it is, in many ways.
I quit playing Flight Rising because of the community. If you aren't an RPer or dragon story-writer, the community will act like you kicked their damn puppy.
I completely agree with you. Loyalty to a pet site is important, especially if you've invested time and emotions into it. As long as the site is well-maintained and engaging, there's no reason to abandon it for another. As long as the pet site is up and running being fully supported, I wouldn't stop playing it because I enjoy it on the site which is why I started playing it.
Yes. If a pet site doesn't first betray me, I can't think of any reason why I would betray it by dumping it for no good reason.I completely agree with you.
