Writing in a journal or diary can be a great way to express yourself and keep your thoughts flowing without judgment from others. It’s also a good outlet for random thoughts or things that are bothering you.

These days, though, a lot of people write in blogs for the public to read instead of keeping a private journal or diary.

That said, have you ever written in a journal or diary? How long did you keep it? Do you still have a private journal or diary today? If not, do you prefer blogging instead?

At what age did you start your first journal or diary?

I post on forums a lot, and I've had others write about me in a diary. I never started one myself or a journal.

I did wrote many things on my diary. I started when I was a little younger. I had a diary where I wrote down all my thoughts. Nobody was allowed to touch or see what I have written. I haven't stop writing about my thoughts, I still do it once in a while. Blogging is a good way to read thoughts nowadays.

I have experimented with journals. It's definite brilliant way to reflect one's experiences, feelings. Putting thoughts in a written form is a kind of therapy and it raises some level of self-understanding.

I love writing and I have written down many things in my diary. Recently, I stopped writing on diary and focused on forums. It's another good way to write down our thoughts and feelings.

I have an online diary titled, "Unfettered Rambles". It is where I vent my craziest thoughts, experiences, fantasies and observations. It is available for public viewing on a local forum from my country.

I started writing by maintaining a journal. I was 14 years and I recorded my frustrations being a teenager. I wrote journal for 6 years. My first book, a poetry collection, was actually some of my journal entries.

I write a diary when I was in school, I stopped when I went to college. I still have it.

I tried when I was in school in order to improve my writing. I don't do these days
