Howdy gamers! I'm new around here but I've been playing virtual pet games since I was a kid. It's nice to see there is a place to chat with fellow pet game enthusiasts and learn about games I haven't tried yet! I look forward to getting to know everyone!

@cpvr When I was little I was obsessed with Neopets, even though I wasn't allowed to have an account LOL. I would just look through the art and Neopian Times comics all day long. I also loved the random sites where people would post little Flash animated creatures, sometimes with stories and sometimes without. There was an equine one I was obsessed with and one that had a story with Enya music playing in the background - I wish I could find those again. Now I mostly play Chicken Smoothie and Flight Rising. I went back to Neopets and finally made an account (my inner child is thrilled lol), and yesterday I tried Grophland because it reminded me of the old pet sites in the early 2000's.

I also played Neopets when I was younger. It was the first game that started my journey into pet sites. Was the equine game you mentioned Horseland or PonyIsland?

I play Flight Rising as well. I like their battling system and dragons! Their art community is awesome. I also play Marapets and Xanje sometimes.

Grophland is about 20 years old, I think. They've been around for a while. It's a pretty good game too!

There's another pet site currently in development that has a 2000s vibe as well, called Oripets.

No it wasn't either of those, although the pets did have a My Little Pony look to them. I want to say it had Stables in the name, but I can't remember for sure. You could get unicorns, ponies, or pegasi, in singles, pairs, or families. I don't think you could do much besides collect them, although I remember seeing awards on some of them.

Oripets looks neat! I like the canine designs, those are so cute 😆

Thank you! I'm slowly figuring out this whole posting in threads thing haha. I love pretty much any cute and cuddly pets or big and majestic pets! Unicorns, foxes, dragons, completely new species, to name a few. I was obsessed with horses and ponies and unicorns growing up, so that's typically a win for me if a game includes that 😁
