Hi from NZ — I made a little watchOS pet

Hi everyone, I’m Mike from New Zealand.

I’ve always liked virtual pets, especially the small everyday-companion feeling of things like Tamagotchi rather than anything too gamey or demanding.

I recently made a little Apple Watch virtual pet called WatchieBesti. It’s a simple pet that hatches, grows, changes mood through the day, and keeps you company on your wrist, because we weren't getting the vibe we wanted from what's out there and I don't like carrying around another device (Tamagotchi...)

This is so cute! Any chance it'll come to Android devices? (Pixel watch perhaps?)

I had the same thought about another app I made. I asked "When should I make the Android app?"

The answer I got was "when the iOS app is successful" 😀

If and when WatchieBesti "wins", I'll look at Android. Sadly as the app is 100% native, it'd be a full rewrite.
