Higest you've earned as a programmer?

Being a programmer is never an easy one. You will need to be very good at what you do to be considered worthy of getting paid. How much would you say that you've earned from being one?

If I was a programmer, I would see what the market rate was and then charge a little under, project pending of course to get lots of clients.

A long time ago, and I do mean a long time ago, I was paid $500 to design a website. It was a store website that the guy didn't even use.

I am not a programmer or know how much they earn. I heard that programmers are making it big these days. Things are going well for them even though the work isn't easy.

Pricing strategy certainly depends on location, experience and scope of project. They may bill at an hourly rate and it could be anything anything between $50 and $200+ per hour, or they may even be billed on a project basis
