How did you get into writing?

Many of us who enjoy writing, there will have been different reasons as to why we got into writing, some of us may have gotten into writing at school when we had to write our own stories or even poems and some of us may have gotten into writing because it is something a family member did too.

If you are a writer or enjoy writing, what got you interested in writing?

I don't remember exactly how I got into writing, but I have always felt it was easier than recording games, edting videos, uploading to youtube, creating thumbnails, wording a title and description to be optimal, and doing that weekly.

To me, writing feels easier. Think of a topic, write, do one or two passthrough to make sure the text makes sense, add a few images, and hit publish. You don't really need to do tags or meta descriptions, whatnot. Google and search engines do that for you if you write your content well.

I enjoy reading and writing on my forum and other people's forums. It has been a passion of mine for many years. Because I like sharing thoughts and ideas with others.

My writing have always been a natural thing, not a family trait. I don't talk much while growing up, I prefer to pen down my thoughts on a paper. I have written some comic books for kids but it's not yet published. When I was registered newly as a boarder in a secondary school, each class needs to appoint a representative in the broadcasting team. My classmates appointed me and our winning point is to write either a poem, story or motivational words. I wrote a story and after all examination, I was appointed as the best writer. That's how my writing surfaced and have a name.

I prefer writing over making videos. Making videos is something I’m not accustomed to, and I’d rather focus on writing. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager.

Video content creation is a good way to express thoughts and feelings, but I’d rather write and publish my words in written form instead of video.

I found it pretty easy, I rather draw, but I can't do that very well. But I find I can spin a pretty good fanfiction if I want to.

Reading books is one of the main things that has helped me learn new words. There are a lot of different books that I’ve read from different authors and genres. I think this has a big effect on a writer’s ability.

Yes, reading lots of books can broaden your ability to speak and ability to write too. The effects are always positive unless the writer don't want to venture through the path of being a writer.

I started writing through penning down narratives for songs way back as a 14 years old. I developed those narratives into song lyrics. I shut down for some years till I got to college. I had to take up writing book reviews as a side hustle to pay my way through school. And here we are deep into writing professionally.

I fist got paid in writing by participating on a paid to post for named Trendri back in the day and that has sparked my interest in writing more.
