How Did You Get Started with Virtual Pets?

I got into virtual pets when I was about 8 years old, and I was hooked right away. Something about the gameplay just clicked with me. From there, I found my way to online pet sites like Neopets and Subeta, and I loved the sense of responsibility that came with taking care of my pets. It just felt rewarding.

It have been a very long time since I started playing pet sites video games and also the ones on smartphone apps. It was a friend who introduced me to pet site games when he found out I love pets so much in real life.

I had a friend that always played the pet games on his PC and it always seemed boring to me. Never even looked at it. Visited him one day and the pet game was running on screen while he was in the bathroom. Casually got to play it while waiting for him. I got drawn in because I actually found the game interesting as I played.
