PC, console, and mobile platforms often develop very different player cultures. Do control methods, accessibility, or hardware capabilities influence how players interact and compete within these communities?

I feel like there's not much of a change these days. Most exclusives end up on multiple platforms now, and PCs are definitely more powerful than any console since you can upgrade the parts. It isn't cheap these days though, so console gaming is the cheaper route. But I agree with Demon_Skeith, you get people being negative about console gaming when it comes to people talking about PC gaming lol.

I loved that there are not many exclusives nowadays. At least I am able to play a whole lot of games that I have on my wishlist.

I think community culture is different for different game platforms. PC game communities are l deeper and more detail-focused on things like guides, mods, and long discussions. Console communities, on the another hand, are are usually centered around shared gameplay experiences inside specific games. I believe mobile communities and more casual, with short interactions and less long-term discussion.

I think these days everyone is every where. I don't think there are a lot of people who are exclusive to certain platform, I see that people play on multiple platforms and based on their interest that join various communities.
