How do you cope with virtual pets when you have real pets?

Is it possible to cope with virtual pets even though I have real ones? I have a dog, and I love playing virtual pet games, but sometimes, I feel like it's necessary to set boundaries. I want my virtual pet to get attention, and likewise, my real pets too.

For me, I believe that virtual pets really complement real-life responsibilities. I don't feel like I added any workload when I care for my virtual pets. It doesn't affect my care for my real pets either. I just see it as a hobby,like reading or gaming.

I love your perspective. Virtual pets can be therapeutic. We can use them to unwind after a long day with our real pet. I still love the virtual pet more because I don't have to commit myself with the real life responsibilities.

I really don't have issues trying to manage my virtual pets and my real pets. I schedule time for each of them. And it the time to care for both seem to clash, I would prioritize taking care of the real pets. Then, I would give attention to the virtual pets at my free time.

I ensure that I create a balance between caring for my virtual pets and real pets. I was able to do that by allocating time for virtual pet activities and for real pets. I choose the one that comes first, which as always being my real pets.

Virtual pets are easy to balance with real pets. The real pets usually come first due to the fact that they are dependent on me solely whereas the virtual pets can still be automated. I would also consider them to be complementary unlike the real pets.
