For me, a casual mobile game is something I can pick up and play for a few minutes. Games like Candy Crush or Fruit Ninja are very easy to learn and they are fun too. How do you define your own casual mobile game?

I would agree, quick to play and easy to play, something to distract a person if they need to mentally check out for a moment.

You are right about the simple mechanics, but I also try as much as possible to consider games with a relaxed atmosphere, like Stardew Valley or Abzu as casual.

Casual games fits into busy lifestyles and they often have simple mechanics, like puzzle games or endless runners. They're really great for passing time.

Quick to load, quick to play, and can stop at just about any time without that need to have to continue playing.

Two parameters define a casual video game to me. The first parameter is how easy it is for me to start and stop the game. The second parameter is a game that I can start playing without any tutorial. The game, Mini Motorways is an example of a casual game for me on PC. And Unpacking is one that is a casual game on PC.

You really hit the mark on those two aspects. Being able to begin and pause effortlessly is crucial. Casual games shouldn’t burden you with tutorials or complex mechanics.

Casual mobile gaming means you play mobile games for fun and relaxation, and these games have simple mechanics that can be played by everyone.

let's say I am waiting for someone and I arrived early, or if I want to take a short break but I want to try something to feel relax. What do I do? I start playing a game where I do not have to commit long hours. That's casual mobile gaming for me

I am a casual mobile gamer. For me, a casual mobile game is basically something you can pick up without thinking too much and put down just as easily. It usually has simple mechanics, short sessions, and doesn’t demand long-term focus or complex strategy.
