How do you discover new games to play? Do you rely on social media, reddit, streamers, friends, gaming directories, or other sources to find new games?

What’s your favorite way to discover new games? Do you follow specific streamers or gaming news websites to keep up with what’s new?

If you use gaming news sites to find new games, which sites do you visit the most?

Whelp, I run a gaming news forum, so I just wait for a company to announce it and I post it and learn more about it lol.

There's a gaming website which I always use to get all the details on all the games that will be released every year with their date of release.

My exploration of new games depends on recommendations from gaming communities and I rely on ResetEra and NeoGAF to learn about new games. The gaming community on discussion forums like VPL also provides essential recommendations as well. With them, I have discovered some wonderful previously unknown games. I also track news from gaming websites like Polygon and Rock.

IGN, GameSpot, and Polygon keep me updated on the latest releases. Streamers like Ninja and Dr. Disrespect also showcase new games too. I also use Reddit's r/gaming community to gain access to expert recommendations.

I am a part of multiple gaming communities and I also follow IGN and GameSpot on social media platforms.

I relied mostly on streamers and social media to find new games. I have some communities that post newest trend about games on Facebook. Sometimes, my friend used to give me updates too.

It mainly comes down to catching my eye and steam reviews. Sometimes I browse through steam to see what I might be interesting in. It could be social media like TikTok or Facebook or from a friend or content creator I like to watch.

Normally, I'll see a trailer or a commercial of some kind either while I'm watching tv (which is rare since I don't watch much tv) or I'll see it on Youtube while I'm on the internet.

I usually see an ad on Facebook, or I learn about new games from forums, and other sites. I also have friends that help me discover new games.

I find games on social media. I follow game studios and games media on social media.

I frequently visit Epic store or Steam to find games.
